Plenty of instances when a new home takes the location of an older one the base and footprint stay more or less the same while everything else is totally reimagined. The home takes advantage of sunlight and its own orientation and layout make it to remain warm in winter and cool in summer. The total design (indoors and outside ) is supposed to be primarily functional and not too much brassy, thus the humble yet tasteful and timeless look. The outside of the home is dark and quite different from the inside that’s airy and light.
